The Perfect Modern and Intimate Laurel Hall Wedding

Courtney and Robert’s Laurel Hall wedding in Indianapolis was nothing short of magical. As floral designers, we were thrilled to work with such a sweet and amazing couple. Introduced to us by their wedding planner, Boldly Chic Events, we instantly connected over our mutual love for organization and color-coded documentation—one of our strong suits as a wedding vendor!

A Wedding Day Full of Unique Touches

From the moment we started planning, it was clear that Courtney and Robert wanted their wedding to reflect their personalities and break away from traditional norms. Their choice of a Classic French Croquembouche instead of a traditional wedding cake was a delightful surprise. Originally a dessert for French royalty, it became a showstopping moment at their wedding, with guests flocking to admire it. We added a floral accent to the dessert table, enhancing its elegance. And let's not forget the champagne tower that added a touch of sparkle to the festivities!

One of the most memorable aspects of their wedding was Courtney and Robert’s commitment to personal touches and their guest experience. At the end of the night, we transformed the wedding florals into bouquets for their guests. Not a single one was left behind, making it a sweet party favor and a testament to the couple’s thoughtfulness.

The Perfect Setting Outdoor Ceremony at Laurel Hall

Laurel Hall provided a stunning backdrop for the day’s events. Its historic charm and beautiful architecture perfectly complemented the stylish and intimate vibe of the wedding. The outdoor ceremony was a particular highlight, where we sourced beautiful antique-inspired pots to create a backdrop that matched the estate's aesthetic. These pots were later reused at the reception, adding a cohesive and elegant touch to the décor.

Thoughtful Personal Florals

Courtney’s bridesmaids carried single-variety bouquets made from ingredients in her bridal bouquet, creating a sense of unity while allowing each bridesmaid her own unique moment. The wedding palette featured neutrals with pops of white, green, and champagne. We used limelight hydrangea, hand-painted iridescent anthurium, and green hanging amaranthus to bring this vision to life.

A Day to Remember

Courtney and Robert’s wedding was not just about aesthetics; it was about creating a memorable experience for their guests and showcasing their unique individuality as a couple. Their willingness to break traditions and make decisions that reflected their personalities made this wedding truly one of a kind.

We were honored to be a part of their special day and to help bring their vision to life. As Courtney said,

“My absolute DREAM florals. You guys NAILED it! Beyond anything I could have hoped. Truly can’t get over how perfect the day was. So thankful for you!”
